The Western Ohio Watercolor Society was founded in 1974 for the purpose of furthering interest in, and adding stature to, the use of watercolor as a fine art medium, as well as to encourage public interest in the medium. Watercolor is defined as water-based media, executed on paper.
Meetings feature noted watercolorists from all over the country as speakers or demonstrators.
The meetings are open to the public and are held on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m., with Food & Fellowship at 6:00 p.m., September, October, February, and March.
Meetings are held at the the Dayton Vineyard, 4051 Indian Ripple Road, Beavercreek.
